Meet Ms. Teresa!

Teresa Walker began her time at Apple House as a parent, having all three children attend and graduate!  She held several positions on the board including Co and Vice President during her nearly ten active years here. Teresa is excited to teach at Apple House and come full circle with her time at the beloved school!  Teresa holds a bachelors degree from Saint Mary-of-the Woods College and spent several years within Avon Community School corporation. Transitioning into the Apple House teaching position is truly a dream come true!  Teresa and her husband Joe have three children ~ Jameson, Brody and Emma and three crazy dogs, life is never dull! Outside of the classroom she enjoys traveling with her family, reading, nature and volunteering for The Foundation for Prader Willi Research.  The Apple House, play based philosophy is something Teresa feels very strongly about, play is the greatest building block we have for developing a true love of learning.
